If your shifting into rickster @Bald Rick then maybe a touch more, chaps good at sharing the love. Thanks for all the replies everybody. I’m on Anglesey in North Wales and a livestock rather than arable area, would £150 be fair up here?

What moisture was it? Crimp can be from 65% to 80% dm.
Your buying a lot of water in crimp . I used to value it the same . Crimp will give you another 500 kg acre that covered your cost of rolling and treatingnot got any but if barley is 170 ex farm and crimp has more feed value it speaks for itself.
Price of dry barley you can buy currently, divide by 0.86 multiplied by the dry matter of the crimp, maybe 0.7 ish. So £162/t equivalent price is £132/t for crimp.
arable guy no better off , if you aint got it it dont matter what the price is.Problem is supply. Walton’s quoted us £184/t for dry barley delivered this week.
Arable boys will be driving new Range Rovers this year (esp as the skiing/ Barbados was cancelled)
ps dont ski dont shoot dont hunt dont fish not been on a plane for 45 years aint i boring? but i do enjoy my farming and family.arable guy no better off , if you aint got it it dont matter what the price is.
