Its the charger points that always fail ,Ive had samsung and Huawei ,the huawei lasted a year before charger point and microphone failed ,glass back that shattered ,,Ive now gone to samsung A40 ,see how long before that goes wrong .
Mobiles nowadays are not designed for the work environment.

If I get a year out of a phone I’m lucky.usually buy a new Sony experia as I’m the age where I can go from one to another without difficulty.normally charging plug gets full of crap and damaged.boy at work got an expensive iPhone only 3 months old and it’s stopped working.its so full of porn and films he dare not get it repaired.its amazing how much more work he does without it

I find the screenknight screen protectors great....dip them in water before fitting....just a film but I think it adds a great deal of impact protection. Run a blackberry priv.....really like the phone . Great camera too

My present Samsung is 2 1/2 years old and is fine except for a failing charger socket - most of my recent phones have lasted past two years with normal care.

I'm happy to continue with a dimphone in the farming environment, but, reluctantly, I do need a smartphone now. So much of the information for the off-farm job arrives via email that I've missed assignments by being too far away from the tablet and dongle.

A quality, small smartphone (4½") with an extremely easy to read screen seems impossible to find. Any larger risks being lost from pockets, and wearing a phone pouch on a belt has proved uncomfortable when tried. Lanyards are too dangerous.

I have an I phone se and after the last upgrade, I tried to avoid it for as long as possible the battery now lasts less than a day, sometimes 6 hrs only. previous to that it would have been two days easy, any ideas?

I have had this problem with my iphone 7, the battery would go down twice a day. I googled the symptoms and found the answer, I held the minus sound and the on off buttons together till the phone went off and then the apple appeared. It is now back to how it was.

Anyone else found that that when an Apple I phone breaks down it's not covered by warranty? Has happened with wife and daughters phones at less than a year old. I Run a Motorola Moto G. At about £150 it's not the end of the world to replace every year. However current ones speaker playing up after only 4 months!
