I am intending renewing my contract for next year, but following a conversation with my haulier am wondering why - Newark broke down again this weekend, it has performed at around half its capacity so far this year and has cost my haulier 600 loads so far. He is predicting a May finish

Newark spent a few million ££ on new computers and processing ,,problems from day 1 ,nothing worked and they still cant sort it + driver shortage isnt helping .
Landlord contract drills,side hoes and lifts along with another guy not far away ,,landlord hasnt lifted his own yet ,better of in the ground as sat on the pad loosing condition .

If I was BS I wouldn’t tell everyone where I got your information from but you can hardly blame them for trying to recruit growers, it is after all their business/job.

They can’t be too desperate as they haven’t contacted us yet.
9 years since we last grew beet. I liked the crop, but didn’t like harvesting it,
nor dealing BS.
NFU Sugar didn’t cover themselves in glory with me either for various reasons at the end.
