[QUOTE="dannewhouse, post: 5012336, member: 43882"] crown wheel and pinion are good, I'm unsure of what has caused premature failure of the bearing 2 suspects a bit of a faulty bearing which genuinely chewed itself up < they do randomly go not so often on new but ive known balers rarely have a bearing in the 1st season? 2nd suspect someone tried rowing a telegraph pole up and that's why 2 cam arms are missing? hud bearings are pretty good I use them a lot. as its a "project" to be bought in I want to be quite sure the price of the parts so I don't spend the equivalent value getting it going and end up with my time for nothing, it needs to be cheapish to be worth the risk/work in repairing it. no apology needed, I didn't want to seam arrogant either with the big arrow but couldn't describe it in words.
