just looking at drills the other day such as amazon box drill it has 30 outlets but only use 24 spouts (125 spacing)

is it possible to get a triple row stagger kit and set it up so there are 30 coulters in total on a 3m drill (100mm spacing)

it might be easier to do on an air drill?

just wondered if it had ever been done before, I like the idea for crop competition against grass weeds and also for drilling grass seeds.

its just an idea atm.

I was thinking Suffolk coulters another thought was to set them up on the triple row stagger pattern but instead of using the longer coulters mounted on the same coulter bar add in another coulter bar and use say the longer of the 2 row coulters to reach the 3rd position alternatively create a 4 row pattern and use both the longer and shorter normal coulters. might be more work just an idea also no turning round corners as spacing will go a long way to pot!

why is 32 a common coulter number? seems a weird spacing of 93.75mm or is it because 32 is the normal number on a 4m so people have just put the distributer on a 3m and piped up accordingly?

of these 30+ coulter 3m drills are they all triple stagger or some 2 row? and all Suffolk coulters?

I have heard about dropping the tubes out for drilling grass seeds, do you ever get it not coving full width as mine would hang in a bit? also I do like tramlines and cant fault my grass drilled with 25 coulters 120mm spacing
