My old 2140 and 3050 didn’t.John Deere’s have always had a neutral pto,
Neither has my 2140….I meant in more modern times. My 6400 has onwardsMy old 2140 and 3050 didn’t.
On my 516 you can hold the button for about 5 second s for it to run constant or push and release for it to run for a few seconds and stopI thought they were only “OFF” switches for safety, but couldn’t turn it on.
That works, use it like that occasionally on the MX.I had a look this morning, seemed to me it was in one or the other, I couldn't find the Inbetween, certainly would be hit and miss if relying on it for health and safety reasons, tractor off is the safest but as already said you can't turn the shaft.

Most modern stuff like that. R series we have you go into the screen & turn remote on, then switch it on in the cab, then switch it on on the outside switch & while it's on the hazzards flash. It's a bit of a faff as you have to turn it off in the screen again to get it to work in the cab again, maybe the newer ones are more user friendly? I don't have a need for it often. On my 516 you can hold the button for about 5 second s for it to run constant or push and release for it to run for a few seconds and stop
