No fungicides at all?

We’ve had a lot of rain so I gave it some Mirador extra I had left from last year, first time growing rye but I’m told it can suffer from rust?
No fungicide here. My agronomist was expecting brown rust to be a problem too (having been warned by a colleague), but it has remained clean. Variety - KWS Serafino.

Hybrid rye drilled late September into baled and carriered wheat stubble. Germination has been patchy again this year. Some light land is good, some thin, same again on heavier soil. Basically, I like the crop when it rockets in the spring but if it’s too thin it won’t outcompete the ryegrass.
Has anyone else seen similar problems? If it won’t work in a dd system then I’ll have to drop it.

Same approach here , not exactly tearing away , vibrance duo dressed which has helped in the past and dap down the spout but only just picking up now after nutriphite and zinc. It is a good crop but may drop it as its not as early as id hoped for osr and storage limited so barley may be better option. Did over 8t this year

8T as wholecrop or 8T/ha of grain?

Serafino here doesn't seem to have much go in it at moment! Starting to tiller out bit now but seems weak to get away and parts of field where capped slightly after heavy rain are bit thin. Definitely doesn't like being drilled too deep and also doesn't like any pre em overlaps! Not grown it before so time will tell!

Patchy establishment again, though we used a twin time rather than an A share on our Claydon, it’s almost impossible to get a consistent enough depth without independent coulter movement it seems? It yielded ok

Pre-em has hammered it but it should recover:

Has anyone moved this seasons rye yet , autumn pool? Ours is in the spring pool , asked the trader for a rough idea when they envisaged moving it bearing in mind the markets at the moment and was told they were struggling to find buyers ? If you cant move it this year when can you , or trader talk.........
