There's some destined for a AD plant up the road and you can almost watch that grow.

Mine’s had one postem herbicide and 2 slugs of pgr. Apart from the seed, it’s cheap to grow and very competitive!
No fungicide here. My agronomist was expecting brown rust to be a problem too (having been warned by a colleague), but it has remained clean. Variety - KWS Serafino. No fungicides at all?
We’ve had a lot of rain so I gave it some Mirador extra I had left from last year, first time growing rye but I’m told it can suffer from rust?

Harvest mid to late June usually for wholecrop...Will hybrid rye harvest before or after rape?
I’m growing it for grain, so it’s going through the combine. Looks to be similar stage to winter barley in the area. Rape is still flowering, so I think the rye might come first.Harvest mid to late June usually for wholecrop...
The lot I took through to grain was between WB/OSR and WWI’m growing it for grain, so it’s going through the combine. Looks to be similar stage to winter barley in the area. Rape is still flowering, so I think the rye might come first.
8T as wholecrop or 8T/ha of grain?Same approach here , not exactly tearing away , vibrance duo dressed which has helped in the past and dap down the spout but only just picking up now after nutriphite and zinc. It is a good crop but may drop it as its not as early as id hoped for osr and storage limited so barley may be better option. Did over 8t this year
