As the gearbox specialist has gone to the trouble of painting inspection plates and stuff black I decided to plait other ancillaries black to match before they are all fitted before the gearbox goes back in next week ( hols) :D

Painted and fitted the h/b lever as well as the linkage between the h/b lever and X brake lever and adjusted accordingly and set at 2 clicks then fitted a new steering relay inc new arms and coller, just need to dig out the clutch mech which will finish the fitting of the gearbox off ( forgot all about it )

Well today I literally emptied the garage out to look for the clutch release shaft but to no avail so I ended up buying a new one and once I'd put everything back I decided to fit the steering rods and injector pipes then a delivery of other bits I had ordered last week had arrived amongst them was a gallon of ep90 and a new slave cylinder so I immediately set work on fitting the slave cylinder and topped up the gearbox and transfer box :)

Dragged the tub in this morning and started with giving the underside a good cleaning then removed the X members and all the aditianal nuts and bolts the p.o had put in over the years, just got to some holes out where the X members were riveted in :)

Made a few small repairs to the tub today as there was 5 points where the X members fix to the rails so I plated all 15 points so the X members would fit properly then I riveted a patch on the tub floor, I do plan to chequer plate the inside of the tub so the rivets where the floor patch is will be covered and the underside of the tub will be jet washed ready for paint :)

Are you posting these pictures on a computer via the web or on the App on a smart phone or tablet?

If it's the latter (Apple anyway), it should upload pictures to full size automatically

If you are on a computer on the web, upload all your images and click the full image button before you press "post reply ". You really need to have the cursor flashing in the prospective post panel at the right spot before clicking full image and post reply

Scraped off the old paint / underseal from the underside of the tub floor then filled in all the additional holes in the tub with pop rivets then once the tub parts I've ordered start to come in I can fit some of them before the tub gets painted :)
