As all the suspects are in here....anyone fancy spending (investing) in a 64 plate Deafener?

Workhorse spec with no fripperies like aircon or fancy cloth seats.
Central cubby box, glove box, blind spot mirrors and about a gallon of waxoyl hidden about the chassis.
It has been run as a car, NOT as farm vehicle.

Love to but the one I got keeps my bank account suitably exercised! Besides, another one might be considered greedy.

Made and fitted the brake pipes today inc the bleading of the brakes as well, oh and here are a couple of night pic's

Just waiting on the wiring loom from Autosparks which should be here either today or tomorrow so Saturday me and son will get right on it then once thats done its a quick check over and get it booked in for its M.O.T.

Just fitting the new loom now ( negative earth ) then just need to convert it from a dynamo to alternator then its done

Its alive yes today we eventually got the engine running but only after we spent half the day trying to start it with a faulty new ignition switch so had to use the old one for now but our celebrations was short lived as later we found the new crank rear oil seal was leaking so will need to do that now but will continue sorting the lights out and a few other things then once they are done I will yank the engine out and replace it

some times when an engine has stood the crank seal weeps there is a product you can put in the oil to help cure it cant remember what it is it was forty years ago when i used it but it worked

thats something like i used some on an engine that had stood for a long time when we started it it was pising out my mate poured some stuff in it and it cured it

Oop's I forgot to update from the weekend, well the engine's out, the back end of the engine is all stripped and cleaned up ready for the new seal and gasket to be fitted once the seal arrives then hopefully I will have the engine back in this weekend

New rear oil seal and timing cover / water pump gaskets fitted inc fresh oil and filter as well so should have it back in and running tomorrow

Engine's back in and running with no oil or water leaks so just got the floor plates to refit then sort out a couple of small jobs out then its done

Had the landy out yesterday up and down the drive ( still on sorn ) but need to adjust the clutch, brakes and replace a faulty brake light switch but other than that i'm quite pleased

I've re-adjusted the brakes and clutch now but awkward to test in the drive but i think i've cracked them but will find out when it goes in for its MOT.

Finally got round to fitting the cubby box in place as with doing everything else i've not had chance, will post pic's tomorrow
