Rain alarm can be highly annoying when you look and see the only bit of rain is over you:(

Hay making virgin here and I'm in the middle - so all my fingers are crossed. Forecast rain Monday evening 1600 to 2000hrs, so hoping it fooks off and I can get some horse fodder. Turned it twice today and it seems to be drying ok currently - mother nature may spoil it though :nailbiting:

I should have cut on Thursday - we've had 4 good days and 2 more forecast now. But they forecast rain all weekend!

I know, frustrating isn't it? I did cut a bit Thursday fortunately, more in hope than expectation, which I got today, got another bit down yesterday evening which should (fingers crossed!) be done on Tuesday, which looks a good day suddenly.

I just get the feeling (in the south at least) that the pressure is building in, and the weather is picking up nicely. You don't need much more than a dry day or two plus a sunny day in the high teens to make hay at this time of year, its dead standing up.
