How far do you want to go? I check switches with multi meter and all connections. I run soldering iron over all pcb joints to make sure I have no dry joints check continuity on the leads and of all that fails I throw it in the pile of dead ones and use for spares. The pcb is the expensive part from the engergoser supplier unless you want to interrogate the board and replace individual parts then a fencer is finished.
