Anyone Received Environmental Payments for 2019

Wondering whether there is a common denominator to who’s been paid and who’s not.
did you submit paper forms , did you send RLE1 forms in , count hedges for the first time, send in really early, or at the very last minute ??
Anything out of the ordinary ??

Still waiting for some commons payments - no news, when I call RPA they cannot tell me anything. Me thinks they have stopped paying anyone?

I spoke to them last week and was told that they had just started paying them out but got the usual story that they have until June to pay!!
It appears there is no logic to how and when they will be paid.
Thanks i wont bother ringing them now then,
Did finally get the full detailed inspection report only last wk, whicch as carried out in May 2019
They take there time mind, doesnt give you much hope of a prompt payment does it

I received a reply this week after they had taken back money after an inspection in 2018. The amount of several hundred pounds was incorrectly taken and they were confirming that they had made a mistake. They said that other fractional errors would still stand. I could have disputed it but as it came to less than a £100.00 I have lost the will to argue with the morons.

What annoys me is that they took the money before telling me and I bet I don't get the money returned until they eventually pay the outstanding amount sometime between now and June.

No they wont... if you owe them anything they demand it straight away
if they owe you, you wait until they see fit to pay it out.
Meanwhile it sits in there bank account costing you money somewhere....

For anyone in Wales waiting on Glastir money, you can now sign up for a ‘support scheme’, similar to that for BPS. If you opt in, which is just a tickbox online affair, you will get 50% of the money owed at the end of February, in the event that your payments are delayed. If they are processed as normal, you will get 100% when they start paying, so nothing to lose by signing up.

You shouldn’t need to opt in, it should be standard! It’s a good idea!

Quite, but I suspect there’s a legal reason why you have to ‘apply’. If your actual payment comes to less than your advance, you have about a fortnight to pay the difference back interest free, otherwise it starts clocking up interest (at 3.1%). One of the three boxes you have to tick, is agreeing to those terms, which I guess is a legal requirement and prevents people claiming they didn’t know?
It’s exactly the same for the BPS support scheme.

That was quick!! I had an inspection in May 2016, Report finally came in Dec 2018 along with notice of a Breach of a rotational option!!! Impossible to appeal, as all the evidence of the Inspectors error had long gone...

If they think you have breached anything in your agreement they will ultimately Penalize you & for each offence it was a £500 fine plus all the back money they had over paid you.
Its a right one sided thing they have in there favor mind.
If this Breach wasnt done in the previous years they why fine you?
But thats how they roll. i do often take photos now of some of mine, but were only human you cant remember everything can you

Email just received from RPW:
"Your Glastir Entry and Advanced claim will not be paid on 31/01/20. Please consider applying for a Glastir Entry and Advanced Support Scheme Payment on RPW Online by 14/02/20. There will be no further opportunities to apply after this date."

Nothing has changed with the management options in my schemes, nor have I had an inspection that could have thrown up any queries.....

Apart from change of business name nothing else has altered - my Farming union candidate who is in a lot of the Gov meetings was shocked when I told Them about the support scheme Email as they said it had never been discussed in any meetings before.
GA and GO both usually come late January, if the BPS system is anything to go by this could mean either the 16th of Feb or late Feb-March :banghead:

I’m guessing the reason they do the box clicking exercise and don’t make automatic is because they can save paying some people who havnt gone on to log on - speaking to others and some people have been very hot and flustered about signing the support schemes in time yet they don’t even need BPS  every penny a prisoner types.
