Anyone recommend a bag filling bucket for a loadall?

After all the replies about a bag handler recently, I have been discussing the safety concerns or comments with our men. Obviously the one area is lifting bags filling drills, and although they are only too aware to never be under a bag at height, they asked if we couldn’t avoid using multi use bags for hss altogether. The suggestion is a bag filler bucket for the jcb with a hydraulic shutter, which can either fill bags if required, but better still fill direct to the drill hoppers without anyone having to be near them.
Anyone got a make they can recommend? Or any tips or comments about them please.

We use this for filling bags and the drill if on fields close to farm.

It's called a auger bucket. Has a auger along the bottom and a door that opens at end.

Albutt and strimech both do a 1 ton bag filling bucket. Based solely on customer support and service I would always choose the Albutt.

Even though I have no personal experience of either product.

We have a seed cart built especially to service or 750A JD drill but have moved up to an Avatar and a front hopper on the tine drill neither of which it really ‘fits’.
The bucket with hydraulic shutter would be much quicker and also safer to use.

The seed cart could be for sale if anyone is interested, for servicing a drill with liquid fert etc it’s the dogs dodas

Slightly confused by your desire to get rid of bags by buying a bag filler bucket... Could you explain a bit more?

Also wondering if there isn't a different solution to this problem. Have experience of engineering, but not much of arable farming. Could you help me out with a few questions?

How big is the hopper in your drill?
How many hours of drilling do you get out of a full hopper?
How much seed do you drill in one hit? i.e. how many times do you fill the drill full of one crop/variety before you change over?
How is your seed stored?
Is there a second hopper on the drill for other things (different seed, feet etc)?

Perry Engineering make a 1 ton tote bin that would be good, but we would need at least ten for a days drilling and at £800 - £900 each it's just too expensive, but definitely the safest way to go.

Bag fillers have a hydraulic operated shutter which means no one has to be near the drill hopper or in the danger area to open a slide manually.
We use hss either straight off the heap or cleaned, sometimes it would be useful to fill bags, but the idea is to load straight out of the heap, out to the field, into the drill.
This is the way the two operators have developed for how they think it would work best in our circumstances.

A friend of ours has made a carrier cage to put the bag inside rather than load with the unreliable straps,This then attaches to the forklift tine assembly using QR safety chains for lifting over the drill, i.e the dangerous bit.I have seen it and it looks good from a safety POV out in the field, albeit with slightly more handling.

Use a hopper / old fert spreader with hyd shutter. It needs to be free-standing and stable so forklift can lift seed bag above it.
Other option is to weld forklift brackets onto side of hopper and tip forwards to scoop grain off the heap.

I bought one last year for filling bags off the heap, it holds about a ton. Came from Ireland via eBay. That reminds me @Northdowns Martin has borrowed it!
