Anyone tried the eFarmer FieldBEE

I don't want to tell Fieldbee how they should run their business(rather than bother with all the online innovation in advertising themselves)- but i were them and i had a reliable product that i had faith in and that i know that works the first thing i would do is hand over a demo of the product to the machinery editors of the Farmers Weekly and The Irish Farmers Journal and let them review it in field conditions. Then if all was well i would publish their reviews on the Fieldbee Website, so why have they not done this yet?

I am yet to see any feedback from a UK farmer in the afdvertising blurb which is a little surprising. You make an excellent point about some independent testing Mike...

To be honest, I really like the idea of a turnkey simple setup, that does not require a lot of tech knowhow but the L2 unit is pushing the pricing a little too much when it's not on "special offer", with the Reach RS2 at the same price!

The Reach probably offers more flexibility and capability... BUT teh Fieldbee would be a better for using with their autosteer I am sure....

Just buy a decent second hand Trimble or topcon system and be done with it, they are very affordable now.

Anyone selling a second hand Topcon kit capable for auto-steer on a non-autosteer-ready tractor, supporting RTK and at least a dual constellation dual frequency receiver at the price of the Fieldbee kit? I'll buy one immediately for a friend of mine.

Probably not as cheap, but it will work and have some continuity.
