New boom, hub seals, fuel lift pumps , throttle cable, brakes, half shaft, gearbox bits, tyres, stop solinoid ,turbo plus some other bits i cant remember
540 70 2004 owned from new and looked after.
Had a lot of problems from the start, lot of which were caused by the engine bay being too tightly sealed up

had one to try last October .they go really well compared to our 08 536/70 agri xtra. 2 downsides .seemed a lot noisier in cab and fuel tanks not big enough because they've now robbed part of it for addblue.

oh a Yellow one & there meant o be the best :nailbiting:
Id have had one 12 odd years ago but it was £5k more than the merlo i ended up with. no regrets
but i dont care for current merlos. Pity them 541/70 jcbs have so much rear overhang
4ton merlo is no longer than my 2.8 one is

Had one for the last six months or so and love it. I think the transmission is worth the extra, less wear and tear on the brakes and your knee. I assume air brakes are standard on non-dualtech machines? If not, that's another reason to go for it. Better for inching. Better on the road, with rear wheel drive. Use the machine in 'eco' mode most of the time. The hydraulics are much improved on our 2013 Agri Super although that is presumably not related to spec-ing dualtech. I would say if it wasn't all that but it is a big step up for these machines IMO.

Any more on the Agri pro ?

Thanks for the tag @General-Lee

I’ve had one since June. Tbh I’ve had a few ‘fit n finish’ issues, which my dealer has addressed with the assistance of the factory. But that’s not what my post should be about, so best not dwell on it too much, as it’s in danger of overshadowing what is actually a fantastic machine.

I only had a quick demo of a DualTech VT machine, just to see what it was like, tbh I really wanted it for a day loading the spreader, but never got it, ended up with it just for a ‘play’, which was not ideal. But it convinced me that choosing the Agri Pro was the right move.

I have a 535-95 AgriPro, and I absolutely love it, I took to it instantly. The difference from my previous powershift is night and day! I never considered the powershift machine to be a bad tool, but I’d not go back now.

As said, you don’t need to use the brakes most of the time, the hydro side of it works brilliantly, and the transition to powershift at circa 19k is seamless.
It’s most definitely worth the extra money imo.

The pro also brings better spec in other areas, a bigger rear axle that is used for 2wd instead of the front axle like on powershift models, which is a big improvement for anyone that tows regularly. Automatic 4wd. Better LED work light package. And other things I’m forgetting I’m sure.
If going for a 7m machine you get, or can spec, central greasing points for the boom and other pivots, which is a great idea. Really don’t know why they don’t offer it on the 9.5m machine.

I also think the LED road lighting package is worth getting too. It’s an option and not part of the standard spec.

I suppose you get used to it...bit like that Manitou mushroom thing they use.
Not sure how to really describe it but the JCB felt well built but like in a military way I suppose not in a commercial way like a Scania truck perhaps.
