In looking for a new cattle trailer, is anyone using the aerodynamic eurostock? Ive spoken to bateson and they seem very helpful and will make me a 10ft with the aerodynamic front. What are peoples thoughts on them?

I have had 2 trailers from Batesons, one made especially for deer and the other a flatbed. Both were very good. I don't need a trailer so much now but I do like the look the Eurostock, it makes a lot of sense, I would love to try one.

Great service, we've had a few flat trailers over the years and also the eurostock trailer. Excellent sturdy build quality for cattle, but the sheep decks are a terrible design. Loading and unloading on the top deck is a nightmare.

That's a shame. Was considering a Bateson with decks as my next trailer. Currently have Bateson without decks and it's a good trailer.

No decks, no problem!

Issues are:
1. Ramp is inside the trailer so to have a fully loaded deck you either need to lift ramp with 2/3 sheep on it or lift sheep onto top deck.
2. Ramp is on one side and leaves a tempting hole for them to stick their head through onto the bottom deck. Only lambs can fit through, but guaranteed the ewes will try, which then blocks the path for others.
3. No daylight at the front to draw sheep up.

Probably best you go see for yourself, but that's our experiences with our trailer.

How did you get on? Thoughts?

Not that well. I didnt see simon who I had spoken to on the phone, the chap I saw was incredibly rude and told i didnt want a 10ft trailer. He said I wanted a 12 and put a gate in the back. Other than that it was a nice enough trailer, side vents not the nicest things and the tailgate latches stick out forward down the side of the trailer.
Its fair to say I was fairly peed off after wasting 2/3 of a day to go and look at it and I wont be darkening there doors again.
