Does anyone on here deal with apb at York ? Do you directly sell to them or do they prefer to buy through a group i.e. Yorkshire livestock or tvc

Had 5 cattle there today. Just ring the number on the website and get put through to Helen in livestock. She'll sort you out. The vet can be very good or a bit tricky depending on which one is working and you never get paid as fast as they say (cheque in the post...aaarrgh!). No via yet but they do use the 225 point grid. Make sure they are clean.

Never been charged, I have sent dirty cattle when they have rung up for some at short notice and had a telling off. They do put a lot of emphasis on cleanliness as it has a big impact on the shelf life of the meat.

Sold cattle to abp at York for over 20 years,sell direct no middle man plus they don't do halal.Very strict on animal welfare and care in their lairage.

Dont want to get into the ritual slaughter debate but high animal welfare has got to be a must for all stockmen In my opinion, good to see a fellow farmer with those standards in mind!!
