Unfortunately it is widespread, No Till, glyphosate one month before sowing.

Phacelia, Berseem Clover, Vetch and Volunteer Wheat. I was going to use a late graminicide in the autumn but didn't bother in the end, looks like a big mistake now.

Might be an ideal opportunity to trial an aspirin type product salicyclic acid to compare with and without ?

Take some leaf tissue, bend it lengthways , if it snaps that means loads of sugar trapped in leaf (not always aphids dry weather could affect)

Green bridge and no till = massive conflict

The aphids died a very sudden death the next day and as of yet I've seen no ill effects. The crop was very late sown, on difficult, wet land and was thinned a little by slugs and rooks, so it's never going to be the best. However, it is now growing like a weed and tillering well, so fingers crossed.
