We understand fully where you're coming from as farmers ourselves in relation to costings but don't rule it out just yet.
We are currently working with a number of farmers who are trialling ACV on their animals and will advise of results when we receive them.
Speak to other farmers who have already used ACV, reduced SCC is one benefit as well as reduced veterinary costs, but there are many more.
We are willing to work with farmers and provide offers for those who wish to trial it themselves.
Get a proper scientific trial done and I'd consider it. As far as I know multiple people have tried, found nothing that stands up to scrutiny and have gone back to peddling anecdotal reports of success.
Much like @buffalo_soldier 's video. 100ml of acetic acid going in to a huge fermentation vat (rumen) that had large amounts of acetic acid in it already along with 100L of water is basically the same as homeopathy - the greatest scam in modern day medicine.
If you have high SCC or poor cow health, get your vet in to find proper, proven solutions - probably for less money. Happy to be proven wrong (properly), but if it was proven, don't you think everyone would've cottoned on by now!?
