Applying for a Council farm

Devon CC are all right. I'm not the only one on here who has taken on one of their farms and subsequently progressed to the private sector. Getting one of their farms is a bit of a lottery, think I applied 4 times before I was accepted but the councillors who get to make the decisions sometimes seem to be a bit strange... the land agents only advise, and put the top 3 or 5 applicants in front of them, then the councillors (some of whom seem to know very little about farming) get to decide.
Don't worry about getting rejected, just keep on at it. If your business plan is half sensible you will get there sooner or later!

Not really your business plan is your chance to show how you'd run your business. Not having accurate information, when compared to someone who does provide them with an indication of who to choose. Details matter

I assume this is Devon county council? As heard they've got 7 farms up for rent this Autumn?

Dairy farms?
