If you got the lime mixed with your muck, and an even spread, are there any advantages or disadvantages to doing this other than less accuracy, and doing 2 jobs with 1 pass?

Always wondered if it would be worth covering the shed floor with lime before bedding down, reckon the muck would be rocket fuel by the time it was spread.

we used to lamb inside and spread lime in the straw bedding for foot care and disease control. the muck/lime mix we just spread as muck but i think there are lime efficacy losses when mixed with muck.

My local green compost maker mixes lime with his stuff and it means that you don't have to lime if you use it. Isn't that a similar product?
