Cold soil here , cold easterly wind almost the most cold as it's been all winter.
Dry as well.

Techno grazng wont help at this point but a load or 2 of nice clean beet would .

April has been a bit of a non event here. Feels like we have been in a fridge for weeks. Grass growth slow. Crop growth slow. Very dry and cold. Big cracks in the ground.

Sat here in front of the fire working out my spray order but not very enthusiastic about spending on crops that are desperately short of water.

Have pre em for S Beans and S Barley sitting in the shed, not as enthusiastic to put it on as the agronomist, dusty dry on top and no forecast of rain
