Just bought a 6yr old Lexion. 3 breakdowns before we even finished the first round of the first field. Teething troubles we shall put it down to. Did the rest of the 65 acres of tangled mess, that was supposedly a hybrid barley crop, without a problem. Very average yield over the weighbridge.

Brand new lexion with 11 hours on the clock went up down the road burnt 30 acres of barley with it .
Driver said he nearly got it out but the extingusher ran out and it rapidly consumed the combine within minutes . Dunno why but there are a awful lot of burnt lexions in breakers yards ....
It's really bad news feel sorry for them we had a dryer go up in smoke that was bad enough

Still in old money here. Averaging about 3.2t, not weighbridge verified, just trailer load guessing. Having to allow for what looks like a poor bushel. Quite pleased with that to say it had wet feet all winter and a drought spell in late april/early May. Average dragged up because largest field yielded best.

Two small fields left to do which aren't fit yet, but look well.

I won't be reporting the yield on one of my spring barleys. 3rd cereal, had to gp 3rd cereal to bring it into right spot in the rotation. Only a small field, hence why wasn't too concerned about it going a 3rd cereal. That said, it might do 2-2.5t maybe.

Bet that was a tense start to harvest! I hate the first half day, always waiting for something to go wrong!
