Just reading Farmers Guardian dated 20/07/2018 and on page 20 I see an article by Alex Black talking about farm sales and prices etc...... It says "The price paid for arable land in England over the past six months ranged from £2750 to £6000 per hectare" ( see picture)

Wow
I sure didn't realise things were so bad. !!!!!!

Interestingly I bought this today in a local "corner" shop thinking it was the latest version.... I was a bit confused as one of the main stories was about the OSR harvest....... I only checked the date when I made this post..... Ha ha. Been sat on that shelf for 2 months waiting for a punter to buy it. Lol
Only bought it because it had another mag about John Deere 7810 and we have one of those .

They’re asking £275000 for 19acres of lowlying very wet permanent pasture just down the road from me. Oh but it has got a pond (ie very wet) and planning for an agricultural barn (permitted development) ;)
