Arable Scotland – moving to a ‘virtual’ format for 2020

The second Arable Scotland – the new field event for the arable industry and value chain – was due to take place at Balruddery Farm, Angus on 2 July, with many winter crop demo and trial plots already in the ground. The current uncertainties arising from the COVID-19 outbreak make it unwise to expect any large gathering to be possible or even desirable in mid-summer. The event partners have therefore decided to change the format to an online event.

We are working on alternative, virtual ways to make available the knowledge, new information, learning and advice arising from the demonstration plots and exhibits, and to engage everyone in useful discussion. A revised plan and information on how the industry can participate will be publicised in the next couple of weeks.

Keep an eye on Arable Scotland and partner web pages and social media feeds for updates.
