ARAG controller

Can anyone advise me from their own experience.

I am wishing to use a trimble cfx system with RTK compatability, to control the spray rate and auto shut off at the headlands on my sprayer.

Will the trimble kit just plug in somewhere on the ARAG unit to supply a GPS signal ? Or am I stuck with the egnos kit that comes with the ARAG system , thereby running two separate Gps systems, one for steering the other for the sprayer.

Hope this comes over fairly clearly.

It'll be new.
I'm looking to purchase a new sprayer, it comes with Arag kit, would love to be able to take the GPS signal from the Trimble kit, to operate rate control etc, and save a few quid on the egnos kit that the sprayer comes with.

If its new, the person selling it should know.

They're telling me to use the Trimble screen, the rate controller and section control on the sprayer has to be fitted separately by trimble, they were advised this by the sprayer manufacturer.

Being a beginner at this I hoped all the Arag system would need was a signal from a GPS system.

Apparently not though, although @Robt seems to think it will ?

So I was hoping for some other user experience.
