Arbochip required

Looking for a supply of arbochip for my big bale boiler.
Currently using about 3t a week, needs to be below 25%DM ideally but I could take green and dry it possibly.
Can take artics.

Yes I mean arb chip and yes I have a Farm 2000 boiler which I am currently burning arb chip in.Heard there is a bit of a glut of arb chip around at the moment so was looking for a cheaper source. I could only dry it by leaving it in a heap and covering it with Toptex, which I am told does work.

ask local tree surgeons, I get about 40t a month in but I don’t like burning it, I get a lot of clinker and poor heat output.

are you paying for it then in its raw state?

What size is your boiler? is it on RHI?

Yes claiming rhi, buying in chipped and dried arb chip at the moment, good but is quite dear.

Ok, what do you call dear though? What’s your cost per ton / m3? How much heat are you getting out of the chip?

have you ever had an rhi inspection? Depending On when your boiler was installed they may not like you burning chip.

im burning grade a here but mine went in 2012 Pre emissions.

you may get passing free tips of logs and chip. I have about 100 ton due in next month and 20-30 of logs from a gang doing the railways

£14 a cu m, boiler put in 2009 so no emissions to worry about. Not had an rhi inspection yet.Thanks for your help.
