Archers looking for woodland to rent

Foxhill Bowmen are a Lancashire based Archery Club who are looking for suitable woodland to lease and continue our sport of Archery having lost our woodland, which we had use of for 34 years, due to the storms earlier this year.

Most people associate archery with an open field and coloured targets. Field archery is different in that we set targets in woodland at varying distances which gives the archers a chance to test their ability. Archery is a lot quieter than scramble biking or paintball, you may hear a cheer if a good shot is made or laughter if not! We love our archery and enjoy nothing more than setting a challenging course to show off the woodlands natural beauty as well as enjoying the shooting.

We must stress that we do NOT hunt animals at all. We are looking for woodland somewhere in the Lancashire area (our old woodland was in the Ribble Valley).

Below is a link to the National Field Archery Society which is one of the governing bodies and which all our members are affiliated to.

We do hope that someone may be able to help us. Thank you for your time. If you have any questions or wish us to clarify anything please do not hesitate to contact me.
