Are Ashbrook Hire, Cheshire & N Wales getting out of ag Hire?

I see that Rostons, Cheshire have a major sale of agricultural equipment on 20th Feb near Warrington of Ashbrook Hire stuff.

Anyone know if they are getting out of hiring agricultural machinery all together? Or nearly "refreshing" stock?

can absolutely guarantee that they are not going out of Ag hire. Some of it’s not Ashbrooks

Did anyone go today? Any bargains to be had?

No bargains from the lots I saw. Most of the stuff had a high reserve. I was interested in any one of the three muck spreaders, one was not sold at 20k and the other two made 18k and 20k, too steep for me. Didn't stay long after that as it was pi----g down and blowing a gale. Most of the kit was in very good order and not very old.

Thanks for the reply but when we tried to hire a subsoiler off you, we were told that they were no longer available.
You also seem to have changed the hire lengths of certain stuff? We only needed a tanker for a few days but were told that it was a minimum of a week.

I'm sorry to hear that you were unable to hire the items that you required and please accept our apologies for this. We do still offer subsoilers and minimum hire on a tanker is generally 3 days. The only thing I can think happened was that you caught us at busy moment and all our stock was already on hire.

I appreciate that this doesn't make the situation any less frustrating for you and I hope that we can soon show you the excellent levels of customer service we provide.
