The whole machine would need to be free to entice us onto one . Our neighbours 4 yr old one always has something wrong mostly add blue but not the point

Are they much worse than anything else? Hydro isn’t for all tastes but plenty of modern handlers can give all kinds of niggling issues.

Merlo’s issue is the finishing from the factory as its shocking. Loose pipes, bolts etc. The dealers end up making multiple trips to farm to sort everything out.
They are lovely to drive though and were the first with the cvt gearbox which is built for towing. They are very compact for what they can lift as well.
They do depreciate alot though. Our last one lost around £25/hr and was extremely tidy and looked after. No livestock work.
Their extended warranty isnt cheap either. The last quote I had was £3000 for 12 months. We moved to JCB because at the time it was a better deal so I doubt I would go back to Merlo just due to the depreciation aspect.
