What is it with removing driveshafts?? I know of two telescopics that were purchased from the Quite Farcical firm that turned out to be only 2wd when they arrived.

Real pack of chancers, was once very close to buying a MF 3065 snoopy of them pics the sent showed a mint tractor . Happened to ask a guy who runs tractors over and back from the uk about collecting it. He nearly had a seizure when the name was mentioned . Very lucky escape but somehow i still hanker after a snoopy .......

Why oh why do people spend loads of money on things without seeing them:unsure:
Pictures always make things look better than they are!
I travelled 900 miles in a day to go and look at a tractor. It's just not worth risking unless you are 100% sure about the seller.
totally agree, personally i saw the advertisement for the tractor on ebay and thought that it was quite funny tractors selling under another name, just wanted to clear that up,yes i too have travelled miles to see tractors/machinery before purchasing !!whoever said the camera doesnt lie was misinformed imho

It’s sad to be weary about dealers in that area. I visited Allan Farrow at East Yorkshire machinery and purchased a Renault with front loader a few years back. He promised to do a couple of little tidy ups on it and deliver the following week. I paid in full and was pleased. However, delivery date came and went. Made calls but nothing. After a few weeks made the long trek up to York and found my tractor was nowhere to be seen. They said to choose something else! They didn’t have anything similar so I asked for my money back, about 8k. Nothing came of it. Found a mile of bad press on Google. So contacted the Trading Standards in York and the local police. Very grateful to both agencies because they put a lot of pressure on Farrow and my money was returned. I count myself as very fortunate. The sad bit is, I’m looking at an excavator and Agriculture Sales of York has something in my range but I’m afraid to take the chance.
Best advice is to load up, pay and leave. I learned the hard way and got away with it. I was on first name terms with Trading standards though!
