What does a way cell machine bring to the party over a bredal type where you measure the density of the fert first; adjust the rate accordingly and can go any speed you want with the tyre touching the tyre. The bredal will keep going if you get a bit of damp fert or a lump aswell.

I keep looking at these fancy spreaders. Just have a feeling that a few good washes down would have electric gubbins shorting out and that lot. Will stick with the old Kuhn 1131 which has lasted 10 years with only a couple of slight bubbly patches in the paint. Probably worth what we paid for it anyway!

But basic tractor autosteer is a wonderful thing. Bracket on steering wheel. Whole lot can be swapped to another machine in about 15 minutes. Just plugs into the cig lighter.

10 years , thats nothing my amazone zam is 18 years old, I had to put a new shear bolt in 2 years ago and changed the gear oil, apart from that its perfect (I bet I've jinxed it now)it gets washed and covered in an oil/petrol mix every time it is used and the is very little rust on it.
