I think what we are talking about here is the PROPENSITY for certain breeds to do certain things given a certain set of circumstances and a specific trigger to set events in motion. Are Staffies aggressive? It all depends!
I am having a day off and have been browsing Youtube. I've posted a video of this guy before. Yes, Spanish fighting bulls have the PROPENSITY to be aggressive, but watch beyond 1.27 in this video and I'll prove they aren't always!
Training is fitting behaviour to specific triggers. If the PROPENSITY is there, all it needs is the correct trigger.
