Are the RPA incentivised to withhold payments due?

The agent didn't charge for the work. Clause in t and c was no charge or pay for loss whichever was least. I lost 2k vs 500 agent fee.
As agent also spotted error and not me and notified all no ability to allege bad faith. They tbf were honest and fair. Also have done a few bits for me on tenancies they normally charge for but foc since so I hold no ill will at all

Just to update on my case they just got back via email to my query (originally sent mid December) I didn't send anything extra. They said following the review of documents, the YF payment was due to me, and so it would be added. So good news, hope you have some luck too ?

Update on the update, my YF payment showing up for Monday. But the payment is only about 60% of what it should be... Ie it's 17% of my (pretty small) claim value not 25% top-up which is what it should be. So new query will be going in on Monday!

Very frustrating!!!
