I’v had my present one a couple of years. Great for fencing or lambing if it not to wet. Mines got some hole but that was a pup

New Chinese Swanndri is nowhere near as good as the old NZ stuff.

They don't seem very thick or water proof as there wool, funny every think made with wool is expensive bar the fleeces itself.

Like I say, they are very good if it not to wet, bit of drizzle there fine other wise you are just wearing a sponge. They are comfy to wear and easy to take off.

Used to find your boots would sit 1" lower in the ground after a wet day in a Swanni, reckon they hold 28lb of water.

When you say wool smock... is it actually a woven wool smock?

Most are synthetic material these days. Swanndri may still make a wool one but £200 sounds cheap for it
