If Gove loses to Boris, won't he be chucked out toot sweet?
If he wins - heaven help everyone else- but we're rid of him.
If he loses to a former remainer, he'll hardly be flavour of the month...

I reckon Boris ( or Esther McVey) will gleefully sack Hammond and appoint Gove as Chancellor.

A new leader will result in a new cabinet, very unlikely any ministers will keep their current brief so yes, we are soon to lose Gove, but there’s a good chance he’ll pop up somewhere else.
