So who was asking for rain :banghead:
Over 30 mm in the last 18 hours.
Heavy rain forecast for all of today. Which, incidentally they weren't forecasting late last night. Nor did they forecast rain all afternoon and night yesterday. Why is the forecast so useless currently?

50mm. Not often I get more than you.

Agree. Forecast crap on all my apps fur last 24 hours

I serviced the mower yesterday, may have to hold on now for a few days.

Forecast in the 80's and early 90's excellent. 5 day spot on.That was the end of the hot spell and the start of lowering sun activity and the world getting colder. Unfortunately the new computer £30mill at the time was set up for global warming due to the corrupt Gore and family. Who had all the carbon credits?
It would be interesting to see the old programme used along with the improved accuracy of pressures wind speeds and jet stream info.

The rain has been welcome and grass has benefited from it but it now needs to warm up, still cold for the time of year and grass growth is still struggling, Was only 10c yesterday.
A like isn't quite the right response but agreed the lack of warmth is still the limiting factor.
Saw some pics from early May last year and would say we're a fortnight behind currently, and last year was slow due to lack of moisture.

This rain means we will catch up though, whereas last year the dry was just getting going, and everything stopped growing in May.
I had some early May drilled beet last year, which didn’t germinate until late June.
This year, waiting for it to dry up enough to drill it (contractor was coming tomorrow).

Patience is a virtue apparently.
