In the 1987 storm a Dutch barn got lifted whole, carried about 80 yards and was promptly deposited on my car! Only straight panel remaining was the drivers door. :censored::cry:
i helped dig a mk2 escort out from a collapsed garage the wall had completely flattened one side of the car so the passenger door just stuck up in the air with the roof flat on the seats looked bizarre

just a bit drafty here :) 87 we had a bit of breeze:D it twisted the last pair of elm trees we had close by it looked like something had just twisted and twisted till it turned them to match wood, but just before the storm hit it went very warm, it had been a coolish day till then, it went very still and the wind when it came just got more and more intense.

It was blowing a gale and throwing it down earlier, the rain beating against the windows. Just checked outside, and the path has all but blown dry and the wind has died down. Is it all over.........:)

Gonna put the pigeon decoys out tomorrow best sport your get.

Good luck with your pigeon shooting in the dark, I'm going to bed during the storm an hopefully it'll all be over by time I get up. I've got some petrol in jerry cans for the generator as my wife isn't human without her hair dryer and a cup of tea, and some more two stroke for the chainsaws so I can stock up on logs if the opportunity arises.
