Arla

Just out of interest @watcher72 are you an arla producer in which case I'll see if i can get your district chairman to give you a ring and apologise for the mistake and discuss it with you

Why was it his fault?

The announcement to members was delayed. The conference call was delayed. Yet the release of press statement doesn't seem to have been.

The funniest part is some are defending the coop for their mistake of letting Mr P had the press release yet they mock him for missing out on his perks when his mate was on the gravy train!

I really think the owners should know the price before the press.....and the rest of the industry whether it be good bad or indifferent news.

Assumptions are the mother of all F ups.

Someone with an opinion of an error isn't allowed to voice their concern on an open forum?

Maybe I will call the local chairperson later and voice my concerns and ask what will be done to prevent it happening again.

Shhh the walls have ears and all that guff.

Please as your an arla farmer it is important you do dscuss these things with your district chairman.

It is unfortunate that your profile hides your details which probably makes people suspicious.

Fredrick told Arla staff just after 12.30 and they had already been in contact with IP and had an apology before 1. Sometimes mistakes happen, there is nothing that can be done after the event beside apologies being made. As long as people learn, then we can all move on and that is fine.

But the fundamental is that the press and industry know before the owners!

Watcher72 put a thread on here a few weeks ago asking how to rear dairy calves on the bucket as he had bought some for his daughter to rear for the first time..............................................

Here's a tip for you.

Some people run a flying dairy herd and get rid of calves asap.

Like I said assumptions is the mother of all f*** ups!

I think it is safe to assume all dairy farmers could bucket rear calves. Heaven help you if you get shut down with tb and the welfare of your calves.

Even if you are a dairy farmer your unwillingness to engage with me about direct communication is making it look extremely unlikely that you supply arla

Better to ask and learn than assume.

We even move asap when shut down with tb.

Kids calves are doing well thanks for asking.

I am not unwilling to communicate hence why I am on here. I have voiced my concerns , they are unanswered on here or via local chair at the moment.
