Armatrac tractors

That doesn't sound too bad.. I could drive it myself and just let the customer have a few goes under my supervision.
I'm ultra cautious, Ive seen some idiots on good machines. They shouldn't be allowed anywhere near machinery. When I get out of something I've been driving I want it to be just as good or better than when I got into it. No manufacturer makes anything completely idiot proof. One of these clowns could put my light out. It wouldn't take much🤔💡🙄
I admire your spirit and wish you well. If a customer damages it on demo. You charge them. You get them to insure it, you get them to sign to say they will pay for damage and will ensure it. You get them to sign to say they will not do excess hours...
If you think the demo will be rough. Wait till your first warranty claim comes through.... '' I was just driving on my flat grass field at 2 kph when the door just fell off and exploded...I was not near a wall or door way. Nope, no doorways in my flat open field. My brother, uncle, father, mother, sister, postman and next door neighbour can confirm i was not near a wall or door way. It just fell off....''

So due to the lunatic President Erdogan in Turkey, the currency Turkish Lira has fallen 28% against Sterling and by 42% against the Euro over the past 12 months! That should translate into a massive price advantage in UK / Euroland, in order to buy market share and push tractors out there! Of course some of the manufacturing costs are also negatively affected by currency as they have to pay for the ZF and Carraro etc, main parts in Euros!
Still though, it’s a big advantage particularly in early stage market share development.

Emmm.. erpansy have been bought up by mahindra. If things go south in Turkey they'll probably just move production to India. Or some cheaper economy.
They buy in everything they only assemble the tractors in Turkey.. Easy to move..
If I could predict the future I'd just do the lottery.. 🤔😎

Anybody on here got one of these for a few years? What's the verdict?
Hello fellow forummers.
As regards to armatrac or any other brand of tractor it turned out getting financial backing to carry the necessary stock of new tractors was a bridge too far.
There was also some difficulty in that an existing dealer thought we were too close for comfort.
We loaded the tractor on a trailer having done a great job of tidying it up and repainting some of the bits that had gotten dull and rusted. We were told a dealer in Scotland had ran out of tractors and needed it right away. The next thing we knew mcmullen tractors in Co antrim were advertising the tractor. We had been unceremoniously dumped. Despite being announced as the new dealers in Northern Ireland on the armatrac website.
Now to the point, the tractor is 100% the cat perkins is as good as the deutz version. There is talk of the tractor being hard on fuel. The fuel tank is small. The air tanks take up the space under the offside of the cab. This leaves no room for a second tank. It's hard to see how it could be hard on fuel and still meet the emissions.
At this point I hasten to ad that the equivalent case tractor is double the price of the armatrac.
I have a Facebook pal in Serbia who has the perkins version of the 113hp model. It's fair to say that he lives in it. He has a 155 case for the heavier jobs and a belarus for the lighter jobs. His only complaint about the armatrac was the diesel capacity and he had to bring a couple of drums with him so he could work 13hrs without stopping. 🤔🤔😂😂
He's a contractor and seems to be busy all year round..
I certainly wouldn't be afraid of an armatrac. They seem to be driver friendly and they won't be cheap forever.

They must have spent a small fortune on advertising, it seems to have gone very quiet now though. Not impressed with what they did to a prospective dealer though ^^^^^ - maybe a bit spent on support for the dealer may have been as well spent as all that advertising!

Dealer setup as flaky as that will turn off most who may have been even slightly warm to it. Double the price or not there will always be a viable well supported Case IH Dealer somewhere..

No point in crying about this. I hope that is not how I come across.
To put things in perspective..
My son bought a vw diesel car with 100k on it. I thought he had paid well over the odds for it. He had great delight in showing me cars the same as his with higher miles advertised for a thousand pounds more. The cost of everything is going up at an incredible rate. If you need a tractor get your ass in gear.

Lads away from the bright light of the big brands you have a group of people who are trying to get a living. You can put the best business plan and accounts in front the bank manager that he ever saw. But he has to put it forward to his bosses. They could be thinking about their existing dealers or customers. If you start pumping out tractors at half price then things could get pretty uncomfortable for the big dealers and the farmers who are thinking of their resale value of their tractors on hp.
My point is that these guys who are trying to sell the lesser known brands have probably remortgaged their house or did some kind of equity release or maybe got a covid loan. Faced with the prospect of remortgaging my home and small farm that I have worked myself into a stuper trying to get the mortgage paid.. Let's say it takes the shine off selling an unproven tractor and standing over it for two years. 😲 There is no huge mark up in them. I do sell the odd second hand tractor and believe me. After you see the tail lights disappear.. You still be nervous about the fone ringing for a few weeks.. 😱😲😂
