Ashdown Forest: the loonies really are taking over the Country

The problem here lies with Brittany Tijou Smith, the junior reporter with the paper.
This is nothing more than lazy journalism designed to ‘trigger’ a response to make money from click bait advertising. The only story here is how low some talentless hack will sink to impress her boss.

She works for an Engineering firm. I bet that factory has a bigger detrimental affect on the environment on it's one or two acre site than the whole of Ashdown Forest .In fact, I suspect the Forest actually neutralises the factory's carbon footprint. And I doubt if she'd be allowed to exercise her dog around the factory.

But, as has been pointed out, the whole story is lazy journalism, farmers need to start presenting "good message" stories to the press. As in Easy access to Ashdown Forest a selling point for local properties, Forest produces low carbon food, etc etc
