We as country folk know what creatures need controlling. We don't shoot hares around here now and there are nice number about and great to see. Pests or vermin are only pests or vermin when in high numbers! Pigeons being at the top of mine, do gooders(people who don't live in the real world) and politicians(rats) close behind!

Dont forget to wear the correct clothes for saying Boo! High vis jacket, steel toe caps and a clipboard to correctly record how many flew away, how many stayed, how long it took for them all to return etc. In tryplicate, black pen and capital letters, of course. You did have a prayer on tape playing, did'nt you? Dont forget the cross compliance form...
I dont get worried by pigeons if I go out without my face on...:(

Hmmm. Could be a job opportunity here! I'll go and walk about shouting shoo - politely of course. And you farmers pay me to do it! (Runs for cover quickly)

will this make use of those "pigeon magnets" the whirly things that shooters use and decoys to attract them in illegal ? surely attracting them so you can kill them falls foul of this ?

rats and fox release may not be a problem for much longer. Councils intend to charge for catching them! Mind you, they are applying the same rules to children taken into care, they intend to charge their parents! Will this result in a battered child staying with its parents because they cant pay the council to take the child away? You couldnt make it up!

East Sussex.
Something to do with a plauge of locusts and seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine comes to mind.
When are people going to learn from and take note of history?

All these "experts" hate history. Thats because it often shows that they have really done nothing for all the money that has been thrown at them!
