Anybody would think that you've the only opinion on Brexit. I was talking to an old friend just last night, who can not abide the way brexiteers are framing the argument. As he said , Brexit is like phoning up QF about a tractor, it might have 4 wheel s but it ain't as the advert described.

The vote is irrelevant now . most leavers wish to remain , for now

I’m not surprised. I hope they were told in no uncertain terms to get fudgeed.

I was at a wedding in Pembrokeshire once and shared a table with an English couple, only from just over the border in Bristol, which I used to visit weekly. They had obviously never been to Wales before, let alone to Welsh speaking Wales. Indeed they couldn’t understand why all the signs were in two languages, it was all terribly confusing for them, especially as Welsh came first. I agreed wholeheartedly with him and said it was a total waste of money to translate everything into English. Oh no, he hadn’t meant that! Of course he hadn’t. I knew exactly what he meant.
My daughter used to say, why do we have signs in two languages, if you go to France, they don’t have the signs in English too, in case people can’t understand French! However since moving to Newport and then Pembrokeshire her views have softened a bit.

Cos he thinks the eu is so wonderful he moved as far away from it as he could
A very ignorant comment although not surprising as you have made similar comments in the past, as per my previous replies, moving to NZ had nothing to do with either the EU or the UK, my move was based purely on NZ itself, having worked here in my early 20s I decided it was the place I wanted to be, many people who come here for either a holiday or a GAP year fall in love with the place, some move some don't, quite a few wish they had. Not everyone adapts to the different culture and way of life and a few move back for a variety of reasons, they miss the pub, the beers too cold, baked beans taste different, the foods not bland enough etc etc. If you want to go live in another country then you should assimilate yourself with the country you move to, be that NZ, Aussie, Scotland, Wales, France. The article in the OP was written by an English journalist who lives in France, interestingly even though he may criticise the French and France he still continues to live there.

My apologies if I have misunderstood what some others appear to be saying but the fact is that Wales is, like many other countries, officially bilingual. The fact that you may not understand one of them is irrelevant. And it is (I'm not accusing anyone on the forum yet of this) arrogant to assume others should only speak the language you understand when in your hearing. (I may have misunderstood but sadly there is at the moment a very widespread dislike of 'foreign'

And what was it you said to me ahh yes "the sense of entitlement is overwhelming" without even asking if I was talking about myself you ignorant bugger

From memory I think what I said was "The self centered expectation of entitlement is quite staggering". This was not aimed at any one individual, more those that think because they have worked for a few years on the farm seem to think they are entitled to the farm, the house, or whatever other business assets are available.

And what I said was the truth, you have moved as far away from the eu as you can
