You can demonise the people and those who speak for them, who want a democratic revolution, as much as you like. But in the end, you'll find the choice (which has been forgotten by most) will be the ballot box or the bullet.
Very dangerous times on the horizon and it's really not a good idea to poo poo and wind the people up.

Same old piffle about an ill informed public, as soon as you read that you know its just another toffee nosed remainer glorifying in their supposed superiority over the miserable plebs. What they don't appreciate in their own lake of ignorance is that the UK has one of the higher rates of tertiary education in the EU among the older generations, the ones that tended to vote for brexit in fact.

Does the state need reform? Yes
Can it afford people to retire at 55? No
Will people who have this right vote to work 'till 65? Hell No!
Do we need a more flexible employment act? Yes
Will people want less job security? No
and having paid the state 40% of your income for 40 years do you want to pay tax on your pension? Hell No twice over!!
Put on top of that Gas, Electric and Fuel Tax rises, toughening the control technique for cars to force people to buy or lease newer models while giving your wealthy mates a big tax cut is going to make you very unpopular.
We all know that things need sorting , if he had picked 2 things to sort out he would have been a shoe in for a second term. Then he could have done 1 or 2 things more but all at once is too much for the ordinary person trying to make ends meet .
I still think he will get a second term though, but he'll get pasted at the euro elections.

But the older generations are less likely to have a degree, their tertiary education is more likely to be an apprenticeship or diploma, certificate (HND/HNC) etc. Trying to pack every kid off to university is a fairly recent development, it certainly wasn't the case in the seventies and eighties. Using the possession of a degree as a sole metric of educational attainment is misleading to say the least.
