Has any body experienced total failure with Atlantis, I mean no sign of soft weed damage even on over laps, I believe even if weather was not right and every other variable I would atleast see something!! Having used Atlantis over many thousands of hectares since it hit the market I have never had a total failure??

I've been walking my crops today and I was thinking that weeds just don't seem to be dying.

I haven't used atlantis but I have used ally max at full rate in barley at t1 and it hasn't touched mayweed or groundsel. I even checked I'd used the right amount of pots.

I also sprayed avocet (pyroxsalum) on wheat to take out mainly groundsel and oats and again not even the smallest sign of the weeds looking sick but strangely the wheat on any overlaps is slightly scorched and an inch shorter.

I did being to wonder if there was something in the tank that stoped su's working but even the wheat that I done with just the avocet isn't any different.

I have found the same with groundsel and ally. Mayweed have died but was wondering about how strong the groundsel was, to the point after having a walk around, that I didn't bother treating another field with ally for groundsel. Even checked that it did groundsel - not sure it is on the label tho
Anyhow i noticed today, 3 weeks after application, that the groundsel are beginning to wilt. Mayweed long dead

now you mention it, I sprayed one can of atlantis in Autumn and saw absolutely no impact on any weeds atall. wondered if I had actually put it in the tank. even washed tank out in field and saw no effect at overlap or anywhere. ........

I'm not too worried about the groundsel it's only an odd bit and I'm not sure ally is that good on it anyway especially if it's getting more than a couple of inches high. The mayweed is the one but thankfully the hybrid barley has got so tall and thick it's smothered it out quite well.

It doesn't make sense that the su on wheat hasn't worked either normally pyroxsalam nailes most blw well.

Yes, a friend had this occur last year with his total wheat area, even double dosed headlands showed no sign whatsoever of any broadleaf weed destruction, I did mention it on here and there was someone else on here who had it. I cannot remember the outcome and the reasoning behind it but there seemed to be a reason why.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread because there's a couple running with the same vague subject but the picture below is what I took this morning of a wb field I sprayed with ally max at t1.

The area shown is a muck/beet pad we left along one headland I sprayed it with the field just to keep the rubbish down.

Odd mayweed have died but others around them are untouched, the groundsel is dead and for @Dr wazzock it's done a good job on cranes bill.

@robbie Can you remember what rate of Allymax that was please? Looks to have sorted the cranesbill.

Just reread it, it was full rate thanks.
