Attitudes to fox hunting survey

I'm a university student currently studying zoology and I'm doing a research project on public attitudes towards fox hunting. If anyone could spare the time to fill out my survey I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Didn't think the questions were too bad. The one about social media was a bit odd, but I guess the anti hunt lobby use social media to influence the debate far more than the pro hunt lobby.

The public see something on twitter or Facebook and treat it as fact rather than take the time to question it. Big problem in general imho!

I thought the poster's screen name probably appropriate fom the general bias of the questions.

Nerd? Google came up with this..."a foolish or contemptible person who lacks social skills or is boringly studious".

And question 10 the most telling.

Yes, I know it is a typo, but the greatest killer of wild foxes really is mange! (But I think he meant 'manage').

If a survey is being given with loaded questions, there is little point in conducting it.

Either do simple yes/no responses or a scale along the lines of 1 strongly disagree ---> 10 strongly agree.

All questions need to be subjectively phrased and with no inherent bias. I will never deal with people whom have an obvious agenda who can't even be assed to disguise the fact.

Didn't think the questions were overly loaded.
The mere fact it's been posted on here for responses will likely give a more balanced response to the survey than had it not.

Question 10 was an odd selection of choices to be given as answers though.

Never had a problem with fox hunting. Fox hunters is a different story altogether.

Done, I only looked because everyone was being rude about the questions, I did not think they were too bad and some were taking a different slant which is quite refreshing.

Odd questions, even odder choice of answers.

Who is going to think that catching foxes with hounds is subsistence hunting?

Would learn much more from asking people who hunt the reasons why they hunt, then exploring those reasons. Also, ask the average person in the street about the physical mechanics and practicalities of hunting and the vast majority would not know or care.

A research project concluding that some people agree with hunting and some other people don't isnt going to get you much of a grade.

As a zoology student I assume the focus is on the animals involved rather than the sociology.

Social media has a huge part to play in terms of PR, as it does with wider agriculture.
