Atu 200 voltage issue

I’m drilling with a 2016 750A iso on a 6930 no iso with an iso loom fitted. Using jd atu 200 steering wheel and running everything through a 2630 screen.......
I’m getting trouble with the steering dropping out, giving me a message about steering controller communication error and/or low steering control voltage.
Only happens when I’m drilling. Has anyone seen this message before and if so what was wrong?

Running the same rig on a Bateman sprayer. Had the same problem with steering dropping out, same error code. Shortly afterwards battery went flat and wouldn't hold charge. Changed the alternator and not had a problem with the steering dropping out. Just my experience hope it helps!

I take it the power comes directly from the battery? If so, check the terminals, give them a clean and stick some Vaseline on them would be the first place to start.

Run 2.5 mm cable direct to battery, ours was just the same if run off universal socket. The least voltage drop cuts these units out.

Thanks for all the replies, I figured out I could look at diagnostics page when going along and it was interesting viewing. Simply voltage drops from around 13 to 11.5 when electric metering starts on the drill so it’s likely this is the issue, drill seems to be getting priority from the isobus loom. I think a wire direct from the battery roll be the solution
