Can anyone help?
Looking for any advice (other than don't) regarding fertiliser application by Atv.
Based in Cornwall wondered what the hourly rate might be?
Is there much demand?
Thanks for any help.
Either really. Thinking about going down the mounted route...With a mounted or trailed spreader? Used to do both yonks ago
So pony paddocks and other small areas?Either really. Thinking about going down the mounted route...
Yeah thats the idea. Plus maybe broadcasting grass seeds as well.So pony paddocks and other small areas?

Don't really know the best way of charging. Nearest comparable NACC had was ATV spraying at £45 p/hr
Ahh Ideal. Gives me a bit of an idea. That is around the figure I would be looking at for now, maybe even a bit more.
When doing small areas, the time is spent travelling. I used to charge a higher rate for Call out and the first hour., then a reduced price/hr. after that. You call any service engineer to do anything on a domestic appliance... 50-60 quid call out!!
Travelling time might hurt Neil!!I’ve got some Winter Barley that’s looking very hungry, that could do with an ATV fert spreader…
That would be a very seasonal job of course, but an extra income stream perhaps?
Cornwall to Wales, could treat the Mrs to a holiday break hahaTravelling time might hurt Neil!!
Does fert go through a stocks or bullock type applicator? I've never tried it but assumed it stick, and would rot the moving parts out?
You want good prills. AN worked fine, granular less so. This was through a Lishmann and a Logic.Does fert go through a stocks or bullock type applicator? I've never tried it but assumed it stick, and would rot the moving parts out?
