All, just to let you know there is a free version of Audible that you can get through the library system. Essex Libraries offer an App called Borrow Box. https://libraries.essex.gov.uk/e-books-e-audio-e-magazines-and-book-groups/e-books-and-e-audio/ and your local libraries probably offer the same.

You register with your library number. The selection is very good and great for children!

FYI another hack if you are an Audible user is to return a title and recover your credit for another book, that don’t seem to care if you have read it (you didn’t hear it from me) .

The public library is a tremendous resource we are lucky to have. Speak to your librarian, they are trained to help you. A copy of every book published in the UK has to be deposited in a national library and while it may not be (but probably is) loanable, you can get passages photo copied for a nominal fee. If you don't use it, you'll lose it.
